Jewish + German Wedding
Ceremony
The ceremony took place at a "Chapel by the Sea". Honoring
the Jewish culture the bride and groom drank the blessed wine and did
the 7 circles together. They both stomped on the glass at the end of the
ceremony. Mazel Tov! At sunset the couple enjoyed each other with a champagne
filled photo session.
Cocktails
The guests enjoyed a cocktail hour filled with 7 different types of
German beer and Pupu. Food stations were everywhere — German food,
Italian, Sushi, Jewish/Middle Eastern. The dinner started with a prayer
by the Rabbi and the breaking of the Challah bread which was baked by
the groom's grand-mother.
Entertainment
A DJ kept all the guests dancing and the Hora was the highlight. Both
the bride and groom were carried on chairs high above the crowed as guests
dance around them.
Mothers Celebration Dance
Both sets of mothers were seated in the middle of the dance floor while
guests danced around and kissed them as they passed by.
Favors
The couple gave each guest an engraved beer mug of their wedding date.
"We were very fortunate to have you, with both of us working full time and organizing
guests from interstate as well as inter country. You took care of all details and
made sure we were always up-to-date with our planning and different tasks. It was
a perfect evening because of you"
