Hawaiian + English Wedding
This is one true wedding of elegance and romance.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place at the Halekulani, one of the most luxurious
hotels in Honolulu. It took place at "Sunset" and was very traditional
Hawaiian.
The ceremony began with the Kahu chanting as he went down the aisle.
The conch blower followed the Kahu (minister) announcing the arrival of
the bride. At the end of the ceremony the couple was showered with rose
petals.
Giving Of The Bride
The bride was escorted by both her mother and father.
Reception
The guests were treated to a Hawaiian feast and entertainment. The bride
danced a traditional Hula for her groom. The couple enjoyed the "Money
Dance" as females lined up to dance with the handsome groom and males
lined up to dance with the gorgeous bride.
Cake
The cake was so beautiful and each layer had a different flavor: coconut,
mango, passion fruit and pineapple.
Favors
Each couple were given a pineapple to enjoy the next day.
Out Of Town Guests
They were all treated to a Hawaiian Feast, a welcome gift basket of
Hawaiian delicacies, were delivered to each guest's room prior to check
in. All guests were adorned with a "lei" as they arrived to
the ceremony garden.
Bed Of Roses
The wedding planner Kristina treated the couple to a bed full of multi
colored rose petals in a shape of a heart. Their suite was lit by candles
every where. It was very romantic.
"Thanks
for all the attention and support you have given in many ways, allowing me to enjoy
my daughter Summer's wedding. Nothing can compare your hugs and down to earth conversation
to help me enjoy this journey... The wedding was a success because of you... You are
a blessing in disguise."
